Problem
Client was about to commence a large-scale NT rollout across the country (approx. 20,000 seats). Aggressive timelines, as well as stringent quality control procedures and guidelines, were placed on SPTP by DEC.
SPTP Solution
Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), one of the world?s largest computer hardware and services organizations, was awarded the contract. SPG, having extensive experience within the Infrastructure technology space, as well as having displayed the ability to staff large engagements across multiple regions, was a logical choice as the primary supplier of personnel. SPTP personnel were responsible for the assessment, design, and transition of the network, desktop, and server infrastructures. SPTP was responsible for staffing and maintaining over 100 highly skilled infrastructure solution consultants, covering Technology Advisory Consultants, Lead Project Managers, all the way down to Network Engineer-level. SPG supported locations in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Florida, Boston, as well as providing a traveling team, which largely supported the banks and smaller regional offices across the country.

SPTP designed and implemented standardization operating procedures and templates that were utilized during the course of the engagement. SPTP on-boarding and retention strategy was implemented.
